KHPX is the Fort Campbell weather radar, a NEXRAD WSR-88D on the Department of Defense side of the network rather than an NWS site. The Radar Operations Center lists it among the DoD radars with the alias Ft. Campbell AAF, and the National Weather Service office in Paducah, Kentucky is the forecast office responsible for it.
NCEI places the antenna in Todd County, Kentucky; Pembroke is about 8 km away and Elkton about 14 km. Fort Campbell itself is a United States Army installation on the Kentucky and Tennessee border between Hopkinsville and Clarksville, home to the 101st Airborne Division. Wikipedia's NEXRAD site table gives 5 September 1995 as the date the radar's data record begins.
Radar shows rain, snow and hail, not cloud, and nothing below its lowest beam; far from the antenna the beam passes high above the ground.
