The Weather Service's text

The rainfall has ended, and the Flood Watch will expire for all of northern and central Arizona. Considerable areal flooding is still present across much of Northern and Central AZ. Please continue to heed any remaining road closures, and avoid all waterways. Additional instances of flooding and flash flooding may be possible as water continues to funnel into streams and rivers. River flooding will remain possible through Tuesday.

The Flood Watch will expire at 5 AM MST early this morning.

What to do

Have a way to receive Flash Flood Warnings and be prepared to take action should warnings be issued.

Consider changing your plans if you were going to hike, boat, or paddleboard to a slot canyon or normally dry wash. If you do still decide to recreate, check in at a nearby visitor center or ranger station.
