The heavy snow threat has ended. Snow levels will continue to rise into tonight to 1600 ft as precipitation amounts begin to slow down. Snow past milepost 7 is still likely to continue into tonight, however this snowfall will be light with around 2 to 4 inches of new snow accumulation though the night.

What to do

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. For the latest road conditions where available call 511 or visit 511.alaska.gov.
